PARENTS BEWARE!!! Our family of four have been members and corporate sponsors of The Boulevard until recently. We had an extremely bad experience with directors, upper management, and owners. Our daughter, who is 9 years old, had an unsettling experience in which bullying, slapping, kicking, and violence occurred with another members daughter. Our family spoke with the director of tennis who informed us the girl, who admitting to committing the acts, was sorry because "she was having a bad day". This was very upsetting to us that the club was not going to impose any discipline on the child initially. After several conversations with upper management and owners, only a single session suspension was executed. Again, this was another slap in the face to us as parents. When asked for a copy of club bylaws and policies, we received nothing. We tried to reason with the owners and stated to them you cannot tolerate or accept violent acts at their club. In the end, all of our concerns fell on deaf ears. Despite having experienced coaching and enjoying lovely events and atmosphere, we will not tolerate violence of any kind. This should have been a learning experience between two young girls, 9 and 11 years old. We cannot allow another violent act to happen again, therefore we have resigned our membership.
