Matts Pickleball And Padel

Matt’s Pickle and Paddle is easily one of the coolest places in the city, especially if you enjoy pickleball and paddle sports. Huge, beautiful, super friendly staff - simply amazing! If you are into this, or want to learn - you owe it to yourself to check this place out!

This place is incredible. Only facility in the Burgh thus far to have padel courts. Didn’t give it a 5 star however because, despite the large fans, it can get incredibly muggy/stuffy inside because there isn’t air conditioning. That might be fine for some, however, if one is playing at a very high intensity it can get a little rough by being overheated. I understand it could be large expenditure to have air conditioning but it would just make the place more appealing to play at all times of the year.

It's nice to have a dedicated pickleball place in the area. There is technically a cheaper option available nearby, however, that facility does many other events and activities besides pickleball, too, which makes playing difficult if you're not available at very specific times, but not the case here! I would like to see dupr rated open sessions available at some point. That could be really helpful. It does get muggy/humid/stuffy in here. Keep that in mind when coming to play.

Love this place and having the ability to play pickle ball inside in the cold months in Pittsburgh soon. Also one of the front desk people and I believe his name is Toby is very kind and didn’t seem annoyed like most teenagers are
